OBJECT: Steel screw pile construction at address ”Līči”, Stalbe, Pārgaujas region, wing for food market

Specification of screw piles: Two blade screw piles, length 6m, screw pile square pile 80x80x5, steel mark S355J2H, blades d=350mm, thickness 8mm, steel mark S355

Number of screw piles: 28 pieces.

Designers load on screw pile: 10t  (100Kn)

Screw pile technology was chosen in object due to poor soil

After screwing screw piles at the top were connected with concrete grillage, on whom co9ncrete walls were constructed. At the beginning, the designer thought it will be enough with 3m of screw piles, bet at assemblance it was clear that it is not enough, because supporting layer were not reached, due to what it was necessary to increase length for 3m.
