Screw pile construction for protection of monolithic slab

specification of screw piles: Two blade screw piles, length 8m, screw pile round pile 101,6 x5, steel mark S355J2H, blades d=350mm, thickness 10mm, steel mark S355

Number of screw piles: 36 pieces.

Designers load on screw pile: 10t  (100Kn), verified load 12t (120Kn)

Characteristics of object:

Screw pile technology was chosen in object due to poor soil, because there used to be swamp in particular place.

After installation of monolithic slab, client concluded that in time period of one one month, it was settled for 10cm, in diagonal way, the only solution how to stop settling was installation of screw piles at the external side, connecting to slab with special angles, which were placed on top of pile.
